Quinn’s Sun Day Double
John Quinn had a day to remember at a lovely Berkshire when he pipped Khalid Javed by a point to take the Sun Challenge Trophy.
Playing on the Blue course, Quinn’s 39 points also took Division Two, ahead of Kevin Price’s score of 35, who was just two ahead of Wendy Edgar-Jone’s. In Division One, Javed’s 38 points was four ahead of Jonny Bramley, who beat Dylan Dronfield on count back.
In the afternoon Quinn teamed up with Russell Dewey to take the Sir George Sutton Salver.
