James the Second

James Nursey delivered a stunning 4 over par 75 to win the Lord Riddell Memorial Trophy at Worplesdon!

Playing off 4, his net 71 on a soggy but delightful Worplesdon  claimed the trophy and Division 1 prize. In his wake were Nev Appleton and Ian Woods, whose net 72 gave him the top honours in Div 2.

It was James second success in the month – he led the PGS to a fine draw against the Northcliffe, which meant that, as holders, we retain the trophy and bragging rights for another year.
